Te Pūkenga | New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (New Zealand)

Te Pūkenga is New Zealand’s largest vocational education provider, formed in April 2020 by merging the country’s Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) and Industry Training Organisations (ITOs). Its purpose is to deliver career-focused learning, including hands-on training, on-campus, online, and workplace-based programmes across the country. Te Pūkenga aims to better align education with industry needs, support learners wherever they are, and ensure equitable outcomes, especially for Māori, Pacific, and other underrepresented communities.
