Undergraduate (UG) Entry Requirements

  • Applicants must have completed a recognised secondary qualification (e.g. NEB Grade 12) or equivalent.

  • Must meet the university’s academic entry standards, which usually mean strong grades in high school and any subject prerequisites for the chosen programme.

  • English proficiency requirement: IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with no band lower than 5.5. Other accepted tests include TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo etc.

  • If you don’t meet the academic or English criteria, there are pathway or foundation programmes offered that allow access after meeting those standards.


Postgraduate (PG) Entry Requirements

  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institution. The degree should preferably be in a related field to your proposed postgraduate study.

  • A minimum academic standing is expected (often “B-average” or its equivalent) in the undergraduate degree.

  • English language requirement is higher: IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall, with no band lower than 6.0; or equivalent in other accepted English exams.

  • Some programmes may require additional documentation like a statement of purpose, references, and/or relevant work experience.
